GIFT City to construct the first ultra-luxury hotel

In the domestic tariff area (DTA) of GIFT City in the Gandhinagar district, the Gujarat International Finance Tec-City Company (GIFTCL) intends to construct the first ultra-luxury hotel with at least 300 keys and development rights for a minimum of 5,00,000 square feet.

Both a hotel and a club are now classified as five stars in GIFT City. But the development that is being suggested will be the first to serve the ultra-luxury market. We are nearing completion on the master plan for growing the GIFT City from its existing 886 acres to over 3,300 acres, including social infrastructure.

The development plan is anticipated to advance the endeavors to establish GIFT City as a worldwide center for financial activities. After the state government reviews it and the public provides input in accordance with the legal requirements, the second phase development plan including town planning schemes surrounding the GIFT City is anticipated to be released.

For the hotel project, bids are requested, and they must be received both physically and electronically by February 21, 2024, and online by February 20, 2024. Additionally, the winning bidder must have constructed a hotel with at least 250 rooms and a five-star rating or above.
