The Mumbai Coastal Road Project Phase 1 is opened
Eknath Shinde, the chief minister of Maharashtra, officially opened the Mumbai Coastal Road Project Phase 1 (also known as the southbound corridor of the coastal road between Worli and Marine Drive) in south Mumbai on Monday, March 11. The project started on October 13,2018. The estimated cost of the project is ₹12,721 crore.In the first phase, the 10.5-kilometer stretch will be made accessible to vehicles. Drivers can access the coastal route at Worli Seaface, interchanges at Haji Ali and Amarson. They can exit at Marine Lines.
