MahaRERA cancelled 13,785 registrations of real estate agents
The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority has cancelled 13,785 registrations of real estate agents. The regulator order these agents to resume their role as property brokers, they must successfully finish the requisite training and earn certification. The list of these over 14,000 real estate agents was uploaded to the website by the real estate authority, making the data publicly available. Out of the 13,785 delisted brokers, the largest number comes from the combined areas of Mumbai city and Mumbai suburbs (6,291), followed by Thane (3,075) and Pune (2,349).Although there have been a number of new agents who have registered with MahaRERA, the total number has decreased due to non-renewals. The regulator conducted the fourth set of real estate agent examinations recently. A total of 1,767 individuals took the test, of whom 1,527 passed.
