NHAI Raises more than 16000 crore
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) announced on Tuesday that it had successfully completed the InvIT Round-3 fund-raising for national highway (NH) stretches, generating over ₹16,000 crore. This is a huge milestone. According to NHAI, the monetisation exercise is the biggest undertaken by the Highways Development Agency and among the biggest in the domestic road industry.
The NHAI’s infrastructure investment trust, the National Highways Infra Trust (NHIT), completed its third round of value exceeding ₹16,000 crore. It also stated that in February 2024, a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) was granted to raise the biggest concession value ever through “InvIT Round-3.”
